Eligibility
Servaas International Online Music Competition is open to musicians of all nationalities
Instruments
Piano
Strings – violin, viola, cello, double bass, classical guitar, harp
Woodwinds – bassoon, clarinet, flute, oboe, saxophone
Brass – French horn, trombone, trumpet, tuba
Percussion – marimba, xylophone, vibraphone
Folk Music
Vocal
Chamber Music
Age Categories
A - 5-7 years old
B - 8-9 years old
C - 10-12 years old
D - 13-15 years old
E - 16-18 years old
F - 19 years old and older
Program
Free program of applicant's choice
A (5-7 years old) – up to 5 minutes
B (8-9 years old) – up to 7 minutes
C (10-12 years old) – up to 10 minutes
D (13-15 years old) – up to 12 minutes
E (16-18 years old) – up to 15 minutes
F (19 years old and older) – up to 20 minutes
Schedule
April 21st, 2024 - opening of the applications
June 5th, 2024 - application deadline
June 16th, 2024 - Announcement of the results

The Competition has 1 round.

How to apply ?
Applicant must submit the application form and proceed with the application fee in the page titled "Apply"

The form must be submitted until June 5th, 23:59h.
Application fee – €88
Chamber Music application fee – €142
If the applicant wants to participate in multiple instrument categories, he/she must submit one application per each category
Video submission
Submissions must be in video format only, with clear audio quality and appropriate video resolution
Video should not be edited
Video must be submitted via YouTube Link
Judging
Entries will be judged based on creativity, technical skills, musicality, and overall performance
The decision of the jury is final and cannot be appealed
The identities of the jury members are kept confidential for privacy and impartiality reasons
